A lightweight 4”x 4” cube, OptoLab is the first portable device to provide the selectivity and sensitivity of large-scale laboratory equipment, at a fraction of the cost.
A Lab in a Cube
OptoLab is a micro gas analyzer contained in a handheld cube. Its integrated plasma emission spectroscopy system can quickly detect and identify gas compounds in real time and in the presence of a complex gas matrix. It is rich in characteristic emission lines, for optimal qualitative and quantitative elemental analysis.
Until OptoLab, only very large, complex lab-based spectroscopy instruments were able to extract the necessary data. OptoLab is a paradigm shift -- it matches the performance of the incumbent approach, while providing unprecedented portability, ease of use and affordability.
